The Kivcet process is autogeneous process where fine concentrate and flux are fed via oxygen burner. The difference in specific gravity separates the lead and slag in the mixture. The lead containing slag undergoes electro thermal reduction after going through dividing wall. At the same time, zinc evaporates and condenses in a reaction vessel by means of load. |

| OCL’s direct bonded series with fused mag-chrome and low silica has excellent resistance to: |
Corrosion and erosion due to Pb / PbO and aggressive slag |
Hot erosion |
Infiltration of slag due to low porosity and fine pore size |
